Today two of our friends beckoned me to their table and said “Look at this kind of colour!” I asked them what colour it was, and one of them said “It’s green mixed with silver”, and the other one said “Maybe now it’s a green, or a grey.”
Then somebody asked “What if we mix the silver with the purple?”
“Whoa, light purple!” “Awesome!”
“We need more colours!”
They chose orange, green, purple, and blue, and were very specific about where each new colour needed to go so they could see how it mixed with one of the old colours.
Then each new combination was mixed by hand and then tested on the painting structure.
Then, all of a sudden, they all moved on to something else, and a new friend came and started mixing colours.
A few minutes later he smiled at me and said “I love painting by myself.”
