P says as she’s approaching our outdoor ‘car’, “I’ll be the big sister, you (M) be the Dad and you (Q) be the Mom. Okay?” Q answers, “Yes!” and M smiles. “Let’s go”, says P. The drivers change seats and N approaches the car and climbs aboard. P says, “you can be the little sister, okay?” N smiles. “Let’s eat,”

Finger painting is a pleasurable, messy and creative art activity. This activity, which involves much more than merely spreading paint with the fingers, should more accurately be called hand painting. Finger/hand painting encourages children to make direct contact with the medium, there is no brush to separate the artist from paint. Children enjoy the cool, slimy texture!
A few friends gathered food for their new home. After eating their ‘lettuce’, B decided that they needed an oven in their new house. So he moved an oven in! “Now we need a tunnel entrance” declared T. T & T built the tunnel entrance, and then tried it out. Our new house!
The movement of sand and stones….digging, filling, pushing, emptying and moving – the wonder of it all!
At Carrot Seed children enjoy swinging on their own, having a friend give them a push, or piling two, three or four children onto one swing for a ride!
